This is an accumulation such as done by the Nouveaux Réalistes in Nice, France, in the Seventies. César, Arman, Daniel Spoerri in the 60s. I made this sculpture in 1993 based on the lyrics of a Bob Dylan song, which says « Nothing is produced in the US anymore ».
I scribbled this idea into my notebook. Nostalgic memorabilia of a glorious past, while listening to the song and walking down the Promenade des Anglais, in Nice.
