Stelleprince – Stellest

Two columns left and right composed of random material represent 35mm motion picture cameras on stands. Red rolls of WWII food tickets I used as film rolls.  August and Louis Lumière created the film camera around 1890. The phenomenon of war and aggression within mankind has been portrayed faithfully to this day in routinely news casting. The red film rolls stand for the violence through the last century up to the present day. Stelleprince Transit represents the projectionist of the cinemas who reminds us by a toilet seat found in an old gaz station on the desert near Calexico Mexico, that although watching TV and movies we are not the toilets of the world.
